In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Outstanding staff — Guests repeatedly mention the friendly, attentive hosts Dee and Tony, who go out of their way to make stays pleasant.
  • Excellent breakfast — Freshly cooked to order, with large portions and vegetarian options – a highlight in many reviews.
  • Spotless, comfortable rooms — Rooms are described as clean, tidy, and well-fitted, with comfortable beds and modern showers.
  • Great seafront location — A short walk from the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark, and South Pier, on a quieter stretch of the promenade.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Small rooms — Some rooms, especially the Economy and Small Double, are compact – a common trade-off at this price point.
  • No pets allowed — The hotel does not accept pets, so travellers with animals will need to look elsewhere.
  • Check-in window — Check-in is limited to 13:00–22:00, which may be inconvenient for late arrivals.
  • Limited on-site dining — The only restaurant is Mexican, and while there's a snack bar, guests looking for varied dinner options may need to venture out.
